Date[edit]

The date, 1945, gives the impression that it is the date of birth of Skardon.

If so, it seems to be wrong. He might have started a Police career in 1945.

Actual date[edit]

William Skardon seems to have been born in about 1920. A birth certificate is needed.

William James Skardon was born on the 15th. of March in 1904 in Woolwich.

He died in Torbay in 1987.
