It appears that the group that he led went under the name of Cork Communist Organisation. See [1] --Soman 12:38, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]


This article should point out that the IPLO forced him to resign from the IRSP's leadership at gunpoint.

Jim left the IRSP in October 1985 following the failure of the IRSP leadership to gain the cooperation of those in the INLA, when they refused to accept the primacy of politics in the movement. The IPLO were not in existence at that time, they didn't come into existance until late 1986. Jimmy Brown did approach Jim Lane not knowing he was no longer in the IRSP.
