Why is this in any way notable? Great candidate for deletion. 155.84.57.253 13:44, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The politician hardly seems relevant, but if it is, then move it to Jim Fraser (politician). Jim Fraser the coach, teacher, athlete and the man, is highly relevant to this site. Wikipedia is better for having this page. I am currently finding more research to place on this page.

Highly relevant by YOUR analysis? I've never heard of Jim Fraser the coach, teacher, or athlete, nor the school you attend, nor any of the guys within your version of the article. The fact remains - You are vandalising an article that existed as a politician stub, and replacing the original content with unverifiable fact, which is not permitted in general. If you so desperately want to mention this Jim Fraser, this article is NOT the place to do it, and especially NOT in the manner in which you are doing it. To break it down piece by piece, where's where your version is lacking or information that you need to prove notability, IMHO:
  • What year did this gentleman compete in the Pan-Am Games?
  • By whom is he considered legendary? Does he have statewide or sport notoriety? Is he an expert on the sport on a national or even world level?
  • You claim he is an expert on running and Spanish How so?
  • You list a bunch of "successful recent alumni". I don't know any of these guys, in addition, some of them aren't even alumni yet.
  • I've never heard any of those quotes mentioned beyond this article, how are they famous?
  • I've never heard of the Interstate Prep School League, either. So why is winning their championship so notable?
  • Nor have I heard of any of the schools you mention within the 2005 season section, so why does this merit its own section or article?
  • What gives you the right to blank another article and overwrite it? That's just like me overwriting your userpage without your permission.

Overall, I admire your appreciation for your coach, but frankly, it doesn't belong in this article. I'd find a home for it somewhere else. KC9CQJ 03:44, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
