divorce[edit]

I added "filed for divorce". The source is IMDb. That is considered a reputable source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wanderingchew (talkcontribs) 10:26, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone keeps removing "filed for divorce". IMDb is considered an authoritative source. Please read Jeremy's bio:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000562/bio

If this continues it will be reported.

There is no mention of a divorce in the IMDb page linked above, which in any case was not cited in the article itself. As per the Wiki guideline, which can be seen at the top of this page, "controversial material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately." No sources are available; therefore the mention is not suitable for an encyclopedia and ought to be removed. Sketchmoose (talk) 05:25, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

uni[edit]

The Royal Holloway, University of London page on Wikipedia claims that Jeremy Northam was an alumni, yet this page says he got his degree from Bristol Old Vic and makes no mention of RHUL. Do we know who is correct? Because one of them needs to be changed! Red red robyn 15:48, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

according to his IMDb biog he studied at Beford College before BOV. It seems like RHUL was at one point called "Holloway and Bedford New College"[1].

Fair use rationale for Image:P Jeremy Northam 014.jpg[edit]

Image:P Jeremy Northam 014.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:24, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the reference to Jeremy Northam's wife because there has been a lot of controversy surrounding this issue. She was never listed in his IMDb bio and was only placed in it after someone claiming to be Jeremy Northam posted on his fan board and said that he was happily married. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ponmed (talkcontribs) 05:34, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
