possible error[edit]

E. Brook's Holifield's work "Theology in America" attributes the work'Examination of President Edward's Inquiry into the Freedom of the Will" as being published by Albert Taylor Bledsoe in 1845. This should be verified and an adit should be made ot the articles if this is right.

On January 14, 1805, he married Martha, the daughter of the Hon. Roger Sherman and Rebecca Minot Prescott, they had one son child Sherman Day and she died in 1806; and on Sept. 24, 1811, Olivia, daughter of Major Daniel and Olive (Tinker) Jones of Hartford, Connecticut. This sentence needs to be clarified. It is not clear. The way I read it, his first wife, Martha, died one year after Shermans birth and in 1811 he (Jeremiah Day) married his second wife, Olivia. If so, it needs a re-write. ```Buster Seven Talk

There is content that is hard to read and understand. I read it a couple of times and it still didn't make any sense: "On January 14, 1805, he married Martha, the daughter of the Hon. Roger Sherman and Rebecca Minot Prescott , they had one son child Sherman Day and she died in 1806; and on September 24, 1811, Olivia, daughter of Major Daniel and Olive (Tinker) Jones of Hartford, Connecticut.".

I fancy myself as a fairly knowledgeable reader but this is confusing to me. Does "...and she died in 1806" mean Martha died? Did he marry "Olivia" on September 24, 1811? As presented it makes it seem one son child (is this British English?) Sherman Day was either really a girl or there is a mistake meaning "he". "She" is a pronoun and it is not, as far as I know, common to dangle it after a proper noun such as Sherman Day but referencing the mother at the beginning of the sentence.
