Character death spoilers[edit]

With such short character summaries, it seemed silly to include spoilers which say the character "dies in X episode." A fan looking for that information should consult an in-depth episode guide, not Wikipedia; for everyone else, those are major spoilers for no good reason here... so I've boldly deleted them.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.172.186.106 (talkcontribs) 20:43, 25 March 2006

Fully disagree with you here, sad to say. The death of Elizabeth affected Kurdy; same with the death of Libby affecting Jeremiah himself. Death has pertinence and should be included in this guide. Additionally, the spoiler tag is in use on this page, so adding even these "needless" spoilers is acceptable, since the reader was forewarned. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 11:28, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

  • J. Michael Straczynski was so concerned about the amount of interference MGM imposed during production that he stated that he would never work again with MGM under the current administration.
  • The first season of the series was released on DVD on January 20, 2004. The second season has yet to be released in this format, however.
  • In early 2005 a Jeremiah roleplaying game was released. The RPG was designed by Morrigan Press Inc. and published by Mongoose Publishing.
  • Apart from the graphic novels by Hermann Huppen, where USA as we know it was ended by a civil war between different groups of people, there is another graphic novel, by a different artist, where all adults were killed by a virus. Unfortunately I cannot remember the title or the artist, and I'm in the midst of moving so can't look it up.

Anyways, it seems to me that the TV series is a merge between the two. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.233.138.32 (talk) 21:15, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2nd Season[edit]

I am currently watching the 2nd season on Netflix and they changed the intro for it, now it contains a song. The song sounds like it is being sung by Malcolm-Jamal Warner, if anyone can confirm and add it that would be good. Also the opening credits have Luke Perry listed as executive producer, it may have been like that for the first but I didn't notice it.

Also, should we mention anything about the rumored 8 episodes for the 3rd season? One if the links on the bottom of the pages talks a little about it. Asatruar (talk) 04:00, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which link talks about it? Zenchi (talk) 01:04, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Canceled[edit]

Did this show finish it's intended story arch and run, or was it canceled early? It's hard to tell just from reading it. JayKeaton (talk) 07:32, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DVD Release[edit]

This section says that the second season is only available on iTunes, Netflix Instant Viewing, and "many P2P networks." I assume this means PIRACY, so I am removing the P2P reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.103.24.2 (talk) 16:35, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Because, ya know, Wikipedia is the arbiter of what is legal or not. Really? Are you that foolish?
As to the point made, it is available on iTunes, Netflix instant view, and definitely via P2P. Whether or not Wikipedia wishes to inform based on censorship or not is up to Wikipedia. 174.101.61.178 (talk) 07:56, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Response[edit]

Is there any info out there as to how the show was received by critics or audiences in general? Many shows/movies etc. have such a section, might be nice to mention it. Tonerman (talk) 04:59, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
