Moved from entry:

This is not a fair statement. Jeffrey Battle grew up partially in Houston, Texas in the Sharpstown area.

He was a Jehovah Witness, dressed very well with Polos. He did not get into trouble at school. His parents were divorced and he was overly disclipined. He was probably disenfranchised by the Jehovah Witness experience, and it remains to be shown if this had an effect upon his ability to get along with others. He may have been influenced during the early 1990's by Louis Farakhan ideology.

Perhaps sourcing can be found to corroborate some of this? TewfikTalk 21:54, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know about the Jehovah's Witness stuff, but I added a blurb about Battle's relationship with Quanell X, a community figure down here in Houston. I found it while researching Quanell X for his Wikipedia article. Deatonjr (talk) 22:21, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also suggest a merge of this article with the other individual biographies of Portland Seven members. It has been several years since their convictions, and their articles don't seem to carry much weight apart from each other. Deatonjr (talk) 22:37, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second Deatonjr's suggestion. Lacks even the most basic components of a biographic entry; birthdates, etc. 209.242.149.227 (talk) 19:26, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
