I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Be careful in creating articles on historical players; as per WP:SPORTCRIT they're supposed to have at least one piece of WP:SIGCOV. The Wikipedia Library is useful in finding old sources (particularly Newspapers.com) - you should be able to qualify for library access I believe.
