Release date[edit]

User:JMacGill says it was 2002 November 19[1], but the page here currently says 2003, so I don't know which is right. --DocumentN (talk) 20:34, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:JazzJackrabbit.jpeg[edit]

Image:JazzJackrabbit.jpeg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sequel or reboot?[edit]

Reading the article about the design changes, could this game be counted as a reboot? Or does it have enough references to other games to be considered as a sequel? --Mika1h (talk) 21:18, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If a later game shares the same name as the debut game, that suggests the later game might be a reboot. The later game uses the same title probably because they want the franchise to start over with a different storyline. I'm not so sure as I never played any game in the series. 172.250.44.165 (talk) 14:04, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Jazz Jackrabbit AdvanceJazz Jackrabbit (2002 video game) — The name of this game seems to have been Jazz Jackrabbit, like the completely different original game, according to the external links. No indication that this game was ever known as "Jazz Jackrabbit Advance". —84.92.117.93 (talk) 22:51, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support Just looking at the boxart gives the answer too, the title does not include "Advance". At most this is something people might call it to distinguish it from the original (the same way people call the 1994 Game Boy game "Donkey Kong" as "Donkey Kong '94" or "GB Donkey Kong").
