I'd have to disagree with that. Ira Kaplan and Georgia Hubley may not have done a great deal of note outside of Yo La Tengo, but James McNew has had a well-regarded (if commercially obscure) recording career with his side project Dump. Wouldn't it make more sense to merge this page with the page on Dump? elwyn5150

i also think it's worth expanding. he has a solid solo career and many guest appearances. he was also once in the band Christmas, with the future members of Combustible Edison.66.90.144.91 05:52, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

James McNew is definitely noteworthy for work outside of Yo La Tengo. Merging this entry into either Yo La Tengo or Dump would be a mistake.
