Alumni[edit]

I have cleaned up the notable alumni section, and removed the following people, for the following reasons. Before reverting this, please discuss it here.

Jessie Brown[edit]

Supposedly was involved in the development of Britain's atomic bomb, however no references are found in a Google search for her (Jessie Brown britain atomic bomb, for instance, produces nada). I know that Google isn't the ultimate source but there must be some reference. Sources needed!

Deborah Rix[edit]

A TV presenter not really notable. Not even in the top 10 cast members listed on IMDB for the only show she presented. I suppose she is the most notable person on this talk page list.

Kate Searle[edit]

"A daughter of the famous British cartoonist and illustrator Ronald Searle attended JAGS. It is believed that Searle drew inspiration for the costumes for his St Trinians girls from the gym-slips worn by JAGS girls. Whether he drew any other parallels between JAGS and St Trinians is not known."

The daughter of a notable person is not themselves notable. The fact that Ronald Searle was alledgedly inspired by the gym-slips worn at JAGS is of no concern to the notability of his daughter.

"interesting facts"[edit]

Firstly, such a section should not exist per WP:TRIVIA. Secondly, almost none of the contents were verified or had citations, and some were almost certainly original research. Truth is not a criteria for entry into Wikipedia - unless things are sourced then then should not be included, even if they are true. DJR (T) 22:44, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Need someone to check this[edit]
