Reorganisation[edit]

Missing text[edit]

Doping[edit]

If Anquetil admitted to doping, why hasnt his Tour de France titles been stripped? Portillo (talk) 03:42, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Because for most of his career there were no rules against doping; because even when there were, attitudes were different; and because back then the rules, circumstances and the sport were different. Image caption vs. team listing[edit]

Noticed that the first image in the article (Jaques_Anquetil_1963.jpg) refers to him being in the 1963 Tour and shows him wearing a St. Raphael team jersey, but the "Professional team(s)" listing below this image lists him as being with St. Raphael only until 1960.
