"Notable Alumni" Section Needs Help[edit]

It dismays me that three of the four "notable alumni" mentioned in the article are professional athletes. Does JHS have any alumni who have done something more significant for the world than chase a ball around a field? If so, please add them, or let me know, and I'll add them. New Principal and School District[edit]

I teach at this school. We have a new principal, and the article now reflects that. I also removed "Jacksonville Public Schools" as the second school district listed, because that is a proposal far from implementation if, in fact, it ever even happens.

To verify that the principal is Bobby Pruitt, you can go the school website linked in the article, or go to www.pcssd.org and fish around, or call the school on the phone and ask them. The PCSSD is JHS's school district, at least for the time being. We can't have Wikipedia articles reflecting future events, like the creation of Jacksonville's own school district, that may not happen!

I would also like to repeat my request for alumni who are notable for academic reasons. Ah, wait, thought of one. I'll find a link to a source and add him, but it anyone thinks of anyone other than 2009's valedictorian, please post them, also. RobertAustin (talk) 10:51, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
