Although it's an interesting article, it sounds like one Wikipedian's interpretation of the song rather than an NPOV discourse. Not that I'm criticising it - I think it's a good article which should find a home on wikinfo or some similar site, but maybe not here. (I guess what I'm saying is that it's too good for Wikipedia!) --80.3.45.158 11:58, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This entire article is original research. Wikipedia is not a place for personal essays or analysis. Deleting all but the "factual" information, which is admittedly little. Anyone who can expand from there while writing an encyclopedia entry (as opposed to highly-debateable analysis) should feel free to do so. 71.55.237.100 (talk) 01:03, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Placed an OR template on the article. The history reveals lots of changes and reverts, so it would be nice if somebody involved actually commented here to explain what they're doing to the article. Without question something needs to be done here; this is an essay and not an entry. 199.73.152.100 (talk) 21:59, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed a sentence about the song stating that people in heaven "look intelligent" which is incorrect. The lyrics "looks smart and wears a tie" has nothing to do with intelligence; smart refers to the style of dress. 217.154.153.2 (talk) 15:44, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No serious attempt has been made to rework this article into anything even approaching NPOV. I've nominated it for deletion. I'm sorry, as the writing itself isn't bad, but this is somebody's personal interpretive essay and that type of writing does not belong here. (How it's survived this long I'll never know.) If anyone can produce a superior, proper article on this subject, please do so.Val Tennis (talk) 19:11, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
