Use for Production of a "Drop in Replacement" For Microcrystalline Wax[edit]

I was thinking about how Soy Wax is essentially upgraded/refined Soybean Oil rather than an inherent wax per se, and was wondering if there could be something similar for Algae Oil (As in the Plant Oil / Vegtable Oil context, not Hydrothermal Liquification based Biocrude / Pyrolysis formed Pyrolysis Oil )

This 1976 book, "Chemistry and Biochemistry of Natural Waxes" Also came up in the search results, but doesn't seem to mention Isochrysis specifically at least, but may be of note later.
