Untitled[edit]

I've deleted references to the poetryfoundation.org entry which, while having a list of decent references (many are dated), makes some assumptions that are not borne out by contemporary scholars and the Oxford DNB. I've also amended some sentences that cite the DNB and yet do not align with its content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tannakin (talkcontribs) 19:06, 15 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removed extensive discussion of Geoffrey from the Early Life section since this is a page about Isabella Whitney. Kept relevant information and put it in the previous paragraph. Emilylehr1 (talk) 18:19, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Out of context statement (section Career)[edit]

Losing her job, she turned to her writing to support her..

However Isabella had no stated occupation in first place to support herself - no indication she went into paid domestic service for example - so the first three words are redundant (so to speak) surely? Also, under 'Personal life' it says she 'lived and worked in London until 1573', with no indication what the work was. Before saying someone lost their job you should say what they were doing first.Cloptonson (talk) 16:11, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
