Lovegrove/Inspiral Carpets Connection[edit]

Does anyone know of any connection between the song The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove on this album and the Inspiral Carpets song Lovegrove from their Devil Hopping album which contains the lyrics 'The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove'? It seems a highly improbable phrase to arise through mere coincidence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.232.146.39 (talk) 03:34, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have since discovered the answer to the question is that they are both referencing a Danger Man episode (season 2 episode 18 - first aired February 16, 1965) entitled 'The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove'. See List of Danger Man episodes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.232.146.39 (talk) 23:30, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Languages?[edit]

What languages apart from English are used in this CD? The Jade Knight 23:54, 17 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

None, glossolalia, Lisa Gerrard "sings in tongues", like singing la-la-la but more elaborated. See the topic at Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard, or the DCDWithin FAQ. (Maybe worth a mention in the article, though.) -- 62.147.38.12 09:57, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
P.S.: I've now covered that topic in the article. -- 62.147.38.12 11:38, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think I found that out after asking this, but thanks! The Jade Knight 23:44, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bias?[edit]

I think this statement is too subjective and shouldn't be included. I did not know when they were together, and when they were not, and did not find Aion to feel broken or not uplifting ...

"As a result, where Aion seemed to bear the weight of Gerrard and Perry's broken amorous relationship, this one sounds more serene and spiritually uplifting." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.247.166.231 (talk) 04:44, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
