Human bonds with other animals[edit]

Why doesn't this article talk about the relatively common phenomenon of humans developing friendships with other species? It includes a link to the human-canine bond article, but it doesn't contain any information about such things in the article itself (or about human friendships with other species, for that matter). Possible Edits[edit]

I plan to provide an evolutionary outlook of interspecies friendships which is essential for understanding the fundamentals of a certain behaviour or trait amongst any species. I will touch on various mechanisms of interspecies communication and elaborate on each of the three sections regarding the reasons we see interspecies friendship formation while also investigating some unexpected but common friendships we see between humans and other species.

Evolution In this section the role on ontogeny in interspecies friendship and communication will be explored.

Interspecies Communication A deeper look into how different species are able to communicate. Communication is powerful and can allow a bond between two species aiding in friendship formation.

Unexpected Interspecies Friendships An investigation of friendships we see between humans and other unexpected species.

Reasoning for Interspecies Friendship Formation This section will explore the various reasons behind the formation of an interspecies friendships, which will include:
