Notability[edit]

This article is soley concerned with material already covered at Irish Recorded Music Association. Suggest merging with that article. Autarch (talk) 18:19, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the topic that is notable is Internet censorship itself which includes IRMA, Eircom, politicians, etc. so if anything the merge should be in reverse. -- samj inout 18:23, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The article covers only the IRMA controversy, which is already covered at Irish Recorded Music Association. If there were other cases of internet censorship in Ireland covered, there would be a good case, but as it is, it looks weak.Autarch (talk) 18:29, 16 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

More information[edit]

The article should be edited to give more information about the life-destroying effects of paedophilia. For example, the victims of paedophilia are six times more likely to commit suicide and are eight times more likely to repeatedly attempt suicide throughout their lives. The victims of abuse in childhood are three times more likely to suffer from depression or to commit suicide with the victims of paedophila being the most affected with a 40% higher number of them suffering from depression than the victims of all the other types of abuse. This is important information and will give the reader a much greater understanding of the issue, including the damaging effects mentioned above.Link to Proof of Life-Destroying Effects of Child Pornography

Web Blocking?[edit]

I've no idea about the current state of web blocking in Ireland but done a lot of work on Web blocking in the United Kingdom.

2017 Video streaming restrictions[edit]

In April (I think) there were a number of streaming websites that were ordered to be blocked by the Irish legal system on the behest of corporate interests.
