In response to the comment that this article should perhaps be merged with a UNESCO article: IHDP has no relationship to UNESCO and therefore, should not be integrated on its page. It is "owned" by ISCU, ISSC, and UNU and because it belongs to all three at the same time, it makes little sense to include the information on their respective pages, the same exact information would need to be included three different places. The unique page avoids confusion that posting in multiple places might cause.
