CC EAL evaluations[edit]
Removed the phrase "and the only product to do so" from the EAL7 part. The Compucat optical switch has EAL7 certification as well and the Fox DataDiode even has EAL7 augmented certification. See for additional details:

One way data communications devices have been common[edit]
Unfortunately most of these devices accomplish this by some software that only allows one way communications. If this software is compromised such as in a hacked or infected system, software can not be counted on for protection. Cutting transmit wires and inserting opto isolation has been used over the years but most communications devices will error or software will fail if hand shake can not communicate bidirectionally to set up the connection. Systems that account for all variables and are physically (hardware protected) unable to pass information in the denied direction are hard to find and products that have passed certification proving absolute physical constraints are even more rare.Scottprovost (talk) 07:05, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
