Section 5: Core Values IEB’s core value associates with assisting the development for engineering and technology in Bangladesh. Being the national organisation for engineering professionals, IEB aims to promote the quality and efficiency in the engineering practices and profession (Alam & Teicher, 2012). It also aims to regulate professional behaviours and practices to build integrity and trust in the engineering field (Amanullah, 2011). In addition, IEB’s objective is to encourage people to learn and participate actively in engineering aspect and work cooperatively to improve the overall wellbeing of the country (The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh, 2021).
