(merge?)[edit]

2012-11-19, I have provided the section heading. -P64

Perhaps we should merge the biographical and book articles. The bio gives no hint of the reason for the controversy, mentioning a 'Carroll myth', but giving no details, so one has to click on the link, only to find a short article consisting of a concise list. Do we, as yet, need both? Rothorpe (talk) 23:56, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rothorpe suggests that we merge the biography Karoline Leach and this article about her book, In the Shadow of the Dreamchild.
We say more about the controversy and its background in our biography of Lewis Caroll --especially sections Lewis Carroll#"Carroll Myth" and Lewis Carroll#Suggestions of paedophilia, but there is relevant material throughout the main sections.
At this stage it's misleading and unconstructive that either one of these two articles (Leach and Shadow) links to the other for more information about controversy. I don't mean to support a merge. Both articles desperately need expansion and in lieu of that each would usefully link to Lewis Carroll, probably more than once to more than one anchor. Section is another likely target.
