Imre Simon's date of death is wrong in this article. Though I was not logged in at the time, I corrected the date (see History), but my correction was subsequently undone. The error seems to originate from a death notice published by FAPESP, the Sao Paulo Science Foundation, which is referenced in this entry, which lists the date of his death as being August 12, 2009. But Imre died after midnight, so the correct date is August 13, 2009, which is also on his death certificate, filled out by Dr. Toshio from Sao Paulo.

I have personal knowledge about Imre's death, and would like to be contacted by a Wikipedia editor through my e-mail address, to discuss how to best correct this mistake. I will now again edit the date of death to August 13, 2009 and hope it will stick.
