Adding any movie that came out before 1989[edit]

Well you were right that it was founded in 1986, as it says on Imagine Entertainment's official website, however looking down at their list of film releases it starts at 1989 NOT 1986. --210.49.251.226 (talk) 04:05, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed, that's why I didn't revert you. - Mark 04:16, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The films that came out before 1989, though made by a production company owned by Ron Howard and Brian Grazier (the same people who own Imagine Entertainment), it wasn't by Imagine (just Imagine) Entertainment, it was made by Imagine FILMS Entertainment. It's a (somewhat) totally different production company, which I believe should have its own page, that's why it's not listed on the Imagine Entertainment website. --210.49.251.226 (talk) 00:53, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Within months of forming their company, Grazer and Howard converted to public ownership. They guided Imagine Films Entertainment through an initial public offering (IPO) of stock in July 1986, selling 1.7 million shares at $8 per share. ... By the early 1990s, displeasure at the arrangement intensified. The situation became dire, with the television arm of the company shutting down, and Grazer and Howard contemplating leaving Imagine Films Entertainment, but in 1993 they opted for another way out of the mess. The pair spent $23.5 million to return their production company to private ownership and renamed the company Imagine Entertainment.

Sounds like the same company to me. A change of name and ownership does not make it a different company. - Mark 01:02, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please change Michael Rosenberg's title to Co-Chairman. Source: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1427972/?ref_=fn_al_nm_6

Not done: IMDb is user-submitted content and thus not a reliable source (see here). Other sources found by Googling his name come up with President. The best place to check this would be the company's own web site, but that marks itself as "under construction" at present. For now, we can't make the change. Sorry. --Stfg (talk) 19:46, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tired of Friday Night Lights[edit]

To Ron Howard...want to do a movie with reason and meaning? Study the life of Arthur Ray Hawkins from Roanoke Rapids NC...integrated into RRHS public school in the 60s...God given talent in sports...united a generation of black and white...lived a hard life but for teachers and friends who made it right...yet done wrong by coaches for due awards...on to college and then Fort Bragg...never giving in to failure,he pursued infantry. Today a leader and mentor to give back to young kids...teaching them all the way and more...I was in high school when we yelled All the way Arthur Ray...he played all sports but taught us more than how to win...he was chosen for a place and time to pave the way for all of us...he has a story to tell...small town legacy...his story as only he can tell needs to be shared...a positive story in the end...needs to be seen by youth of today. 75.177.170.181 (talk) 07:48, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
