Image Fight II[edit]

Does an arcade version of this actually exist? I know some sites like KLOV list it, but there's not a single image or flyer or anything to indicate that it's real.

  • It's highly speculated that Irem never made a sequel to Image Fight. Like you mentioned, pictures of the arcade machine itself and flyers for the game seem to be non-existant. EisenKnoechel 08:30, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I started looking for any info that I could find about a sequel for Image Fight, and apparently SHMUPS! [1] has a review of the PC-Engine CD version of the game. According to some forum posts on system 11 [2], there is no arcade version of Image Fight II, only the PC-Engine version. Also, there is an entry for Image Fight on the Japanese side of Wikipedia located here [3]. EisenKnoechel 07:57, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just changed it to say that it was released on the PC Engine. I have never seen any evidence that an arcade game ever existed (the KLOV entry contains no details, no pictures, etc). Trashchannel (talk) 05:46, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From R-Type Final?[edit]

"The weapon names are taken from R-Type Final." (location in main article) How could they possibly be taken from R-Type Final when that came in 2003 and this one in 1988? If this simply means the weapons didn't have names in the game and someone decided to copy what was in R-Type Final for this article, the wording could be perhaps improved. Currently I'm reading it as if the original authors took the names from the R-Type game. --M.A. (talk) 01:17, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
