IBM's implementation of UniVerse has obviously been a profit center for IBM. They have and continue to add support and engineering staff. I believe this is the most powerful implementation of our multivalue world. I am personally working on a worldwide implementation through an American non-profit corporation. When they partnered up with Revelation's OpenInsight it gave us the very best combination of 2 power products. Will tell more shortly after we finalize the U.K. non-profit for Europe and Africa. May need several volunteer experts to help us get it into production. Bobfox321 (talk) 05:52, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DataStage?[edit]

Does DataStage really need to be in this article? It's a separate product. -charleca (talk) 13:30, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Datastage editions till Datastage 7.5 use UniVerse as the repository. It is only in the recently release version8 that IBM has moved away from UniVerse to an RDBMS. J mareeswaran (talk) 13:44, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
