Speedy Delete?

I'd vote NO. Lipman's patent and "invention" is notable enough, and a link here from the Eraser article should exist. The eventual finding that the patent was invalid is an historically interesting case (and probably/arguably inconsistent with modern law) and may deserve a mention and link in the Patents article.

Spelling of Name/Move Article[edit]

According to this court document his name is spelled Hymen L. Lipman -- I propose we move this article to the proper spelling of his name and redirect this to there. (Sorry forgot to sign my name to this) - Etcher 04:41, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other patents and sale of patent no. 19783[edit]

There are 2 other topics that would be worth expanding on:

1. The immediate sale he made of the pencil/eraser patent (19783) for a purported sum of $100,000. 2. The other items he received patents for.

These topics would make the article more interesting and is about all the other info that is currently available on Mr. Lipman. -- Etcher 21:14, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Google graph error[edit]

The person whose image is displayed when searching is actually that of Doug Lipman (from [1]) and has nothing to do with this person. Please do not add the photo to this article.--Auric talk 22:42, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
