  • "Slow to develop, and plagued by unfavorable wind shear for most of its life, the storm formed on August 23 near the Caicos Islands, from a long-tracked tropical wave. " - two too many commas
  • "locally totaling more than a foot." - why not say the exact peak instead of this vague term?
  • "Another person was killed by floodwaters in the Turks and Caicos, which also suffered damaging floods" - floodwaters caused damaging floods... Try finding a way to avoid saying that word twice
  • " the hurricane began to degrade as it moved over significantly colder waters and began to encounter further dry air" - don't say "began" twice
  • " just north of the 49th parallel north" - as with earlier, I hate seeing the redundancy. The wording is pretty, but there's nothing wrong with "just north of 49º N"
  • "and it maintained hurricane-force winds persisting until August 30" - I don't think it should have "maintained" and "persisting", that's redundant

All in all, a really well-written article! These comments here are minor. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:06, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
