Origin of the word 'Fillér'

I believe there is an ambiguity between two pages on the origin of 'fillér'. On the page of the Hungarian forint: The name fillér, the subdivision of all Hungarian currencies since 1925, comes from the German word Heller. On the wikipage of the Heller, it is explained that it is 'originally a German coin valued at half a pfennig'. However, on Fillér, it states that the forint is 'derives from the German word Vierer that means 'number four' in English'. Is the fillér both derived from 'Heller' and 'Vierer'? I doubt it is. There is also a factor mismatch(Heller:1/2, Vierer: 4 (1/4)). Is someone able to clarify this? HarrieB2 (talk) 09:55, 1 August 2014 (UTC)
