Supposedly the "victims" on Howie Do It are unaware they are part of Howie's show. But in almost every case, when they find out it is Howie, they instantly recognize him and laugh and sometimes say things like "I love your show!" Given that Howie Mandel is not exactly the most well known celebrity in the world, why would they all recognize him if they hadn't been told beforehand?
