Plot Summary[edit]

The plot synopsis is pretty off... it takes place on a college campus. On a sidenote, I was thinking of mentioning the tension between AMS and the special forces, and also the lack of experience the special forces have in dealing with zombies.

Much of the action does take place in the scientific facillities of the college campus. And personally, I'm not sure how much the 'lack of experience' is intentional and how much is just plain bad writing. I mean, who wanders off from the team like that? 'The operatives are unsuccessful in the initial attempt to gain a sample. The second time around works, leaving only two of them alive. The survivors return to the city to find it burning, presumably by the zombies.' I just saw this file and they were unsuccessful the second time around. The vial was broken when the grenade went off. Is this a case of alternate endings?222.154.154.253 (talk) 07:56, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Dead Aim"?[edit]

I just watched suffered through this last night on the Sci-Fi channel. There was no "Dead Aim" in the title, just "House of the Dead 2". Yet IMDB and Amazon both list it was "House of the Dead 2: Dead Aim" so I don't know what's right. -- MisterHand 17:53, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • The official site has no mention of the "Dead Aim" subtitle, nor does the DVD cover. Unless somebody has a compelling reason to keep it, I'm going to remove it from the article title in a few days. -- MisterHand 18:24, 12 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cuesta Verde[edit]

Cute translation of cuesta, but in reference to land forms, cuesta means "hill". The School's name means simply "Green Hill". Yes, it can mean "it costs" but that's a very awkward and unnatural translation of the College's name. Paroxytone 09:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More than likely, it's a reference to the first level of Sonic 1, Green Hill Zone. :P --BPM 08:14, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Doubtfully. "cuesta" translation is "coast", not "hill" ("colina"). Not even in "reference to land forms" "cuesta" means "hill". You are both wrong. Also, even if the name was the same (which isn't) the name is very common. I'm removing the reference. SSPecter Talk|E-Mail 06:30, 16 November 2007 (UTC).
Actually, ALL of you are wrong. "Cuesta" means "slope" in Spanish, which may be where the "hill" confusion comes from (although more literally "hill" would be "colina." sspecter, check your sources before you remove information. "Coast" is actually "costa" in Spanish, not "cuesta." I think slope and hill are similar enough so that "Green Hill" and "Green Slope" would both be adequite translations, but more literally it translates into "Green Slope." And I check my sources several times, so I doubt anybody's going to contest me. Although this little conversation's been fun. -Lamarcus (talk) 18:01, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Hurst[edit]

Is there confirmation that the man who directed this is the same blonde fellow that co-starred alongside Kevin Sorbo in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys? I originally was under the impression that it wasn't, and given that the director is credited as "Mike Hurst" in the films opening credits, I am curious as to whether it is a different individual with the similar name. --71.156.85.133 04:22, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, viewing his information on the IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0403629/), it is indeed a separate individual (it is also mentioned on the TarsTarkas review in the external links section that it is a separate individual as well). I am going to alter the links in the article to reflect that. --71.156.85.133 04:25, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Walking Dead Homage[edit]

A number of zombie movies have had characters dress or act like zombies (Redneck Zombies, The Dead Hate the Living, and Shaun of the Dead use the same concept. There are probably others. These movies don't exactly use zombie guts to disguise the smell but the idea is a standard zombie movie idea and crediting Walking Dead specifically seems a stretch and I think that bit of trivia should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.18.115.232 (talk) 03:47, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia[edit]

There is so much irrelevant trivia throughout the entire article. And speculation. Lots42 (talk) 05:46, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citation needed for lack of news?[edit]

It's been there since November so I doubt it matters, but come on... Someone put "citation needed" at the end of this sentence in the section about a 3rd movie: "there have been no more developments since." How can anyone possibly cite there has been a lack of news on a subject?

'Cinema Crazed'[edit]

I'd like to propose we remove that review that compares watching this movie to being raped. We have a ton of lovely citations for this movie, we don't need rape talk. Lots42 (talk) 20:33, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Too Long?[edit]

The plot summary is too detailed and too long. The entire film is 95 minutes long. It took me that long to read this. This is quite possibly the worst written wiki article I have read. And the spelling is horrible. L. Thomas W. (talk) 13:38, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
