Files?[edit]

"A hotfix is a single, cumulative package that includes one or more files"

Hot fixes may not contain or be related to files. It may contain raw patch information to be applied directly to memory; no source or destination files are involved. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.29.171.160 (talk) 19:09, 18 April 2010 (UTC) help....antivirus detected —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.82.80.78 (talk) 15:35, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Patch Tuesday / Friday[edit]

The article mentions patch Tuesday being on the last Friday of the month and quotes an article that doesn't mention Friday. "Hotfixes are most often pushed out on the formerly weekly, now biweekly "Patch Tuesday", which often occurs on the Last friday of the month. [6]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patch_Tuesday seems to contradict? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.215.90.49 (talk) 15:19, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
