Merging to HIF to LC 37 tag[edit]

Merging this info to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 37 seems like a good idea. There's not enough detail here to warrent a seperate article, imo. -Fnlayson 21:13, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree that it's a bit slim, but it could (and should be expanded out). Merging it back in would probably bloat the original. I'll take a look at what else links. CompRhetoric 11:13, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{globalise}} tag[edit]

I've added this tag based on discussion at Talk:Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 37 that this article should focus on facilities of this type in general, and not specifically the one at CCAFS LC-37B. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 21:07, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please review the wording of the new intro sentence for accuracy and completeness. As regards for other similar facilities, the obvious places to look are at Baikonur Cosmodrome since Soyuz and Proton are verticalized on the pad, and at Guiana Space Centre where some Ariane assembly is done vertically before transport to their final (vertical) assembly building. And Vandenberg SLC-6, of course! Are there any other obvious places where such facilities must exist? (sdsds - talk) 17:03, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ariane is assembled vertically. Best places to look are Baikonur, as you mentioned, and Plesetsk. SpaceX and Sea Launch also use horizontal integration. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 02:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is this article dead?[edit]

SpaceX has built 2 more HIFs, one a long time ago at VAFB and a newer one at HLC-39A at the Cape. Greg (talk) 09:42, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
