Hitomi Satō (actress)Hitomi Sato (actress) – Her name is officially written in Roman characters as "Hitomi Sato" on her blog, on JFDB and on the back cover of the latest US and UK release of Ring. Tempjrds (talk) 01:39, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nomination. Unlike diacritics used within names that use Latin script, such as Czech, Polish or Romanian, diacritics attached to transliterations of Japanese names should be used only if the bearer of the name insists on using such diacritics, which is not the case here. Moreover, the other Hitomi SatoHitomi Sato (table tennis) — also does not have a diacritic, thus suggesting the move of disambiguation page's main title header: Hitomi SatōHitomi Sato. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 07:54, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support No reason to have a diacritical marker especially if person themselves doesn't write their name in that manner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wakemeup38 (talkcontribs) 02:27, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
