Creation[edit]

I've created this page as the History Section on Southampton F.C. was getting a bit too big. When I get a chance, I hope to write a more concise history for the main article, and hopefully have this one for the detailed stuff. Dan Kerins 17:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea Dan. I looked at this page to fix the main. Prk166 (talk) 15:50, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have a look at: http://wapedia.mobi/en/History_of_Southampton_F.C. Extensive History of SFC, and detailed, as far as I've read it.Betty Butt (talk) 15:08, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FA Cups[edit]

You seem to have missed the early FA Cup matches feturing Southampton in 1901 and 1902, can you include this in your history? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.195.38.188 (talk) 05:27, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They are mentioned (briefly) in the "Formation" section. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 05:40, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested reference point[edit]

Hope you don't mind but you can find the History of the Saints at: [1] It is quite extensive, and may be of help to anyone.Betty Butt (talk) 15:03, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me that the wapedia article is a straight mirror of the Wikipedia article. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 15:07, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
When I read it it was far more extensive, sorry if it's changed. Betty Butt (talk) 15:10, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
