Fiddler on the Roof[edit]

Morishige is most notable for his role as Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof", the longest-running musical comedy in Japanese history. His style as a folk singer of northern Japanese songs is also noteworthy. Unfree (talk) 06:01, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, Morishige is just as well known as an actor, appearing in many popular series that are famous in Japan but less known abroad. Looking at the news shows reporting about his death, I see everyone stresses how multi-talented he was. (Michitaro (talk) 03:20, 11 November 2009 (UTC)).[reply]
