Hindu nationalism[edit]

I find the objection to 'Hindu nationalism' a bit odd. Baka seems to misinterprep the usage of the term. It does not imply that Hindus worldwide constitute one nation, its a term used for political groups that promote the idea of India (or Nepal) as Hindu Rashtra. The term is used as a substitute to Hindutva, and I thought to could serve as a more compromising wording.

I don't really see how it could be seriously questioned that HMK belongs to the Hindu nationalist fold (plenty of newsarticles are around that clarfiy the communal character of the party). To use the term 'Hindu political party' is incorrect as Hinduism is a religion, and not a political movement. --Soman 20:51, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Extennsions[edit]

Over the last year the article was heavily extended, which a good thing in principle and I really appreciate editors puttung in time to improve the article.

However those extension were unfortunately somewhat misguided as they violated various Wikipedia project rules, in particular our sourcing requirements, neutrality and a proper Wikipedia format. So if you want to extend the article please make sure, that your extensions are properly sourced and do not use bold/fat print within the article main text. If you have questions or need guidance feel free to ask here, on some wikipedia project page (like WP:TEAHOUSE) or directly consult WP:PILLARS, WP:POV, WP:V, WP:SOURCE]].--Kmhkmh (talk) 10:42, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@LilWikia: Thanks for adjusting your original contribution to be in line with Wikipedia policies. However umho the notable violence section still needs to be coordinated with the history section, as they both describe violence due to the Hindu Makkal Katchi and also overlap timewise.--Kmhkmh (talk) 01:58, 6 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
