As a pupil of the school during the "merger", that's certainly not how I remember it. St Mary's was in financial difficulty due to the location of the school on prime real estate in one of Doncaster's leafy suburbs and Hill House decided to acquire it, rather than it be merged - Hill House pretty much dominated everything, taking over the running of the new HHSM school and then eventually dropping the St Mary's moniker and the ethos of inclusion that surrounded it, introducing entrance exams, etc... The entire article could do with some more citations and work to it tbh. I'm unsure where any third party sources are likely to exist, however. --Laser2k (talk) 02:19, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
