There are actually at least 4 meanings/origins of "high and dry" that I can find but probably many more. The purpose of disambig pages though is not to discuss them. Either create a Wiktionary article, or create a new article High and Dry (phrase) but it would be more than a collection of definitions. -- GreenC 03:37, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
