Not to be confused with Helena Palaiologina, the Serbian princess consort[edit]

Helena had a cousin, by the name of Helena Palaiologina, who married Prince Lazar Brankovic of Serbia. Her father was this Helena's uncle Thomas Palaiologos. These are two separate people, so please do not add the ancestors of the Serbian princess consort Helena Palaiologina to this page.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 16:50, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems we have a "subject" not fully identified?[edit]

From this site are these words;

"Marriage and issue On 3 February 1442 at the Cathedral of Saint Sophia in Nicosia, Cassandra married King John II of Cyprus and Armenia, titular King of Jerusalem and Prince of Antioch.[1] He was the son of King Janus of Cyprus of the Lusignan dynasty and Charlotte de Bourbon-La Marche. Helena was John's second wife, his first wife Amadea of Montferrat having died in September 1440. She had turned fourteen years old on the day of her wedding, and John was twenty-seven. The Chronicle of Amadi recorded the arrival in Cyprus on 2 February 1442 of Madama Cassandra Palaeologo de la Morea and her subsequent marriage the following day.[1]"

It seems, if one reads this site, that the identity of "Cassandra" is never mentioned! Maybe some connection needs to be made?69.92.23.64 (talk) 00:03, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Ronald L. Hughes[reply]

There was no Cassandra. The article was vandalised at some stage. Thanks for pointing this out!--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 07:51, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
