New post[edit]

It seems to me that the new add stating what car he drives is irrelevant. We also don't know for sure that he now lives between Paris and Los Angeles, unless he himself or someone close to him added that, which we don't know, and without a confirmation it seems to me it shouldn't be stated either. So I left it but added a need for reference. One can mention someone's cars when it's owner collects them as a well known habit, such as Jay K from Jamiroquai or Justin Timberlake for example. But putting here that Slimane has been seen driving around L.A. in a Rolls Royce is really not the purpose of Wiki. It's not a gossip column dedicated to Slimane, it's an encyclopedia meant to state the basic elements of people's profile and an analysis of their work.

Lack of references[edit]

This article lacks a lot of references and citations, and for some, it should simply be removed. For instance we don't need to know that he joined his friend Van Sant in the US, how relevant is it to his career as a desinger ? At the most, if the person who started this page insists on keeping this kind of fact, it should be mentioned that his close friends include people like Van Sant. It also seems that nothing so far links him to Amy Winehouse, where for Peter Doherty we know he did a book with him and dressed him on several occasions, or at least we know that Peter Doherty has been photographed wearing some Dior Homme.
