KCMG[edit]

I'm removing references to the Order of St Michael and St George. Though knighthoods awarded in the foreign service, the SIS, are normally in this Order, appointments in the domestic service are in the same Order as for other home civil servants, i.e. the civil division of the Order of the Bath. However unless there's a specific mention it is all speculation so should not be in the article. Opera hat (talk) 11:41, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I concur that my previous edits of 'KCMG' inclusions are not correct and Harry would be made a 'KCB' under the Order of the Bath bestowed on all Secret Intelligence operatives as can be evidenced in the articles relating to the Director General of MI5 the male chiefs. I understand that there is no correspondence to deem this so, but if there is none then it either means that Harry was made a Knight Bachelor (whereby there are no post-nominals and simply the prefix 'Sir' or it is by normal precedent i.e. that of the Order of the Bath) --PoliceChief (talk) 21:37, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

KBE[edit]

But he was a CBE, so he'd've been "upgraded" presumably. DBD 17:31, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jane[edit]

In the Prior Career section we learn that Jane is uncomfortable in Paris. Shouldn't Jane, I assume Mrs Pearce, be introduced earlier? TheOneOnTheLeft (talk) 18:57, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

This section does not contain much tangible documentation regarding the characters reception by critics, fans or the general masses but speaks more about the characters reception by other characters as well as some plot specific points. This should probably be moved into the character history section.

Shameless promotion of atheism[edit]

Is there a source for Sir Henry's lack of religion, or is the 'Religion: None' tag, hyperlinked to the atheism article, just a shameless plug? 78.151.203.122 (talk) 21:37, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect it's nothing so sinister as a shameless plug, but it is still unsourced and not really all that relevant to the character so I removed it (I can't remember a Spooks episode where it was mentioned). If it can be sourced then it can be restored. CaptRik (talk) 22:40, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
