I removed the deletion tag after adding several references and rewriting the article. I know he has not played for the national football team, but he has played for the national team in badminton and has won the Faroese championship several times in three different sports: badminton and football and handball. He is mentioned several times in Faroese newspapers, which are available now on the internet. There are even headlines with his name.
