There needs to be some metion of the poor level of customer service that is provided to customers. They do not follow up on warranties nor do they care about the concerns of there buyers. Indeed. Not to mention that I've never had any trouble at all with Haier's customer service. It wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't bad. About average, I'd say. What you said is really not much more than anecdotal evidence. Hackers on steroids (talk) 03:09, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

4th largest in the world?

hello there, I have made a slight change in the history part. I feel the previous text which puting China communist party and a long decline together will somwhow give the readers a impression that CCP led the decline of haier since the party taken over haier in 1949; however, the really matter is the old planned economic system which indeed works well before the great leap. CCP taken over haier in 1949 was also for saving this old enterprise from no market crsis rather than to make it fall, it is because after a long time war in China, people lost much more and had to rebuild everything, and in such a hard time, no one could either afford one refrigerator, or need it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.233.162.128 (talk • contribs) 2007-04-26T03:39:17 (UTC)

Well, the CCP was largely responsible for state planning in the economy, which resulted in the decline of a consumer market in the early period of the PRC. So in my opinion Haier's decline was related to CCP policies in the earlier period; of course those policies changed and have resulted in the successful company Haier is today.
