Imperial War Museum website has non-copyright photos. It gives these links to the photo and licence. If you know how to use them on a Wikipedia page, let me know. I do not know how to do this. Gousinsaang (talk) 12:52, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Crews and log books ~[edit]

According to WP:SHIPSNOTCREWS before removing names of crew members it should be discussed on this talk page ~ I see where User:Lyndaship has blanked several sections on crew members and several sections on log books ~ I don't know if Lyndaship did a thorough search on every name removed at one time. but I think it is a bit excessive to just blank it when WP:SHIPSNOTCREWS cites " Notable persons should be linked to their biographical article, or redlinked if none yet exists, to encourage creation. If inclusion of any individual name is challenged, the matter should be addressed on the article talk page and any consensus determined there will supersede this guidance." Any thoughts from anyone else ~ Mitchellhobbs (talk) 00:03, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This is an article on the ship - not the 4th Flotilla, or a host of other ships that had any contact with Titania - the list of captains of submarines that served in a Flotilla that Titania also served in isn't appropriate for an article about a depot ship. A very large proportion of the article could still be trimmed as it isn't to do with the ship, but with other ships, or with football teams or with large quotes that aren't necessary and stretch fair use as they don't substantially improve the article.Nigel Ish (talk) 20:25, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
