Date of transfer to Captain Countess[edit]

The article includes the following, referenced to Winfield's "British Warships":

In September 1795, Captain George Countess took over, and Daedalus sailed to the West African coast and then on to Jamaica.

But Mariner's Mirror (ref below) has Daedelus on convoy duty under Captain Countess in July 1795, accompanied by what might have been Prince William Henry's Andromeda.[1] Am tempted to go with Mariner's Mirror as a reliable peer-reviewed journal with an article specifically researching this issue. This would change the date of Countess command to some time in the first half of 1795. But any views on this admittedly obscure point before I change it?
