Ref improve[edit]

I've just done some slimming down and re-organisation on this article. There are some bits which were (perhaps still are?) of less relevance to general readers of the encyclopaedia. Having said that, I don't think the NPOV notice should remain, but I've added a ref improve template and that should probably be addressed prior to removing both tags. I hope I'll be able to do some of that but it's likely to be over the next few weeks rather than today. Sjgknight (talk) 11:51, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

major broadening of scope and addition of refs[edit]

I have undertaken a major revision:

  • spelling out different forms of group cognition (others are invited to refine this list and change the names of the forms)
  • creating spaces for others to add info related to the "other" forms -- esp. other than what I called "small-group cognition"
  • referencing the major historical sources
  • referencing the sources in my writings and those of my research colleagues
  • others are welcome to add references for the "other" forms and external links or see-also links for the "other" forms.
  • I removed the warning templates. I think the article now meets Wikipedia standards -- and will even more as other people add to it.
