Some proposed changes[edit]

There is some information that would be beneficial to add to this article. 1. The photo for the journal is outdated. The new journal cover image can be found at the following link (journal home page) - http://journals.sagepub.com/home/gom 2. The description located at the top of the page is also very brief and could be updated to better reflect what is written on the website (example content below): A. Group & Organization Management (GOM), peer-reviewed and published bi-monthly, publishes the work of scholars and professionals who extend management and organization theory and address the implications for practitioners. GOM is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). B. Group & Organization Management publishes research that addresses a wide range of issues within organizations. Evaluating both individual behavior and organizational strategy and functioning, GOM features empirical and theoretical articles spanning various levels of analysis in organizations. C. Group & Organization Management moves away from the boundaries of management subfields and encourages scholarship that challenges traditional distinctions among management scholars. The journal promotes the development of new paradigms and the explorations of paradigms from various disciplines. D. Each quarterly issue of Group & Organization Management publishes a broad range of articles, including data-based research articles, research review reports, evaluation studies, action research reports, and critiques of research. In addition, GOM examines a wide range of topics in organizations from an international and cross-cultural perspective. E. Group & Organization Management also publishes Special Issues dedicated to important topics or proceedings from recent conferences. F. GOM sheds light on a variety of topics, including: -Leadership -Teamwork & Group Processes -Multi-level Theory Organizational Communication -Strategic Management -Cross-Cultural and International Management -Macro OB -Organizational Cognition -Workplace Diversity

-Bullet A content can be Found in the “About the Journal” section of the carousel on the home page (http://journals.sagepub.com/home/gom) -Bullets B-F content can be found via the home page -> About -> More Information (https://us.sagepub.com/en-us/nam/group-organization-management/journal200823#description) 3. While the impact factor is correct, the 5-year impact factor could also be added. The five-year impact factor is 3.394 (can be found at home page - http://journals.sagepub.com/home/gom)

 Unable to review edit request

Your edit request could not be reviewed because it is unclear what specific changes you'd like to be made. In order for your request to be reviewed, please include a description of each requested change in the form of "Please change x to y using z".

(x) (y) (z)
A verbatim description of the old text coming out of the article (if any). A verbatim description of the new text going into the article (if any). A reference which verifies the requested change.

Using the above key, an edit request would contain three main elements:

  1. Delete the 4th sentence in the 2nd paragraph "The sun's diameter is 20 km." — (This is an example of X.)
  2. Add as the 4th sentence in the 2nd paragraph "The sun's diameter is 1,391,016 km." — (This is an example of Y.)
  3. Use this as the citation: Sjöbad, Tristan (2018). The Sun. Academic Press. p. 7. — (This is an example of Z.)

Wikiformat: {{cite book|last1=Sjöblad|first1=Tristan|title=The Sun|url=http://www.thesun.com|publisher=Academic Press|date=2018|page=7}}

When combined, a typical edit request to add text to an article should look like this:

  • Please add the following sentence to the third paragraph:

The sun's diameter is 1,391,016 km.[1]

Smaller requests need not be formatted in this manner, but should still contain at least two basic elements: the claim and the reference. If you need help using Wiki Markup, assistance may be sought at the Help desk, the Teahouse, or here on the talk page. Kindly open a new edit request at your earliest convenience when ready to proceed.

  Edit request partially implemented

  1. Red XN The requested paragraph concerning the journal was not added, because it discusses the journal's publication philosophy. An internalized publication philosophy is made up of several factors including editorial direction, time constraints and access to submitted content, all of which vary from publication to publication and change according to the individuals involved in their management.
  2. Red XN The requested photo must be uploaded to either Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons (one or the other, but not both) before it can be added to the article. Please use either Wikipedia's file upload wizard or Wikimedia's wizard to accomplish this.
