From the article George W. G. Allen, which links to a scan of the Meccano Magazine (some issue in 1941) it appears that the 1938 restoration was done by George Allen, and I guess that that John Allen & Sons was his father's company. -- Verbarson talkedits 23:32, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
